I have LimeWire Pro 4.12.6.
It always starts up without me starting it. Even when I have LimeWire open it will open up again all by itself. When I exit out within seconds it will just start back up again. What is going on? |

Pretty uptight are we?
Better yet, if you don't like my laziness, then please, don't reply to me. |

No up-right,.....but straight forward !!
Replying to threads I do voluntarily, even to such as yours,........the second link I gave you may hold the resolution to your problem.....if not, then you'll have to visit Norbies World as described in the first link of LOTR..... Cheers

The worm seem to prevent you from opening the Task manager.
To get into the Windows 2000 / XP Safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

WOW! It really did work, thanks so much foolofthehill.
I have to admit, I was a little bit skeptical because sometimes you just never know if you are downloading a good program or some virus that is going to destroy your entire computer but, this really did work. All of my functions are back and working, so, thanks again! For the future, how can I avoid this problem from happening again? |
