LW shutting down
Hi guys - this is all new to me but having read a number of related posts I'm still confused by my misbehaving LW (ver. 4.12.6 on Java 1.6.0_01)...
Everything was working absolutely perfectly on my Windows XP machine until I foolishly downloaded the Java Runtime 5.0 update 11. Even if it's in the middle of downloading LW now seems to get bored and shuts down of it's own accord. Typically I'll have RealPlayer and Explorer running and maybe some MSOffice programs but nothing particularly hungry like games or graphics. Any ideas? I've done the re-install thing, virus scanning etc and Norton's configured to let LW through... is it all down to this pesky Java update? All answers on a postcard! Thanks.

Try the tips below.
Reduce the drag caused by LW Lately more people seem to be having trouble after installing the Java 1.6.0_01 & reverting back to that 1.5.0_11 version (uninstall the 1.6 first) has helped
