 It shows your external ip. External ip's are given by ISP's, with the exception of some networked computers AFAIK.  |

| So does that mean that that is the IP I would give to another person if they wanted to connect to my computer via the internet? Would it also work on a LAN connection? By that I mean if I wanted to connect to another computer in my Local Area Network, would I use this IP or another one for permission problems? Not that I have any problems, I'm just wondering  Thanks anyways! |
