| boeing747fp, Have you tried using java 5.0 u11? That sometimes helps xp users. What's the make and model of your router? Most of them contain firewalls that need to be configured.

| i havent tried installing Java 5... because it will keep asking me to update and go back to 6. |

| You should try it and see if it works. If it does then you'll know it's a java issue and you can try to find another version or wait for and update that might work. If it doesn't work then you'll know to look somewhere else.
