Default limewire keeps popping up!!

i'm pretty sure i'm encountering the same problem many of the other users here are also encountering. it seems like many people have infected their limewire with a worm and i think i have done that too.
basically, the probelm is that limewire keeps popping up every 30 secondsno matter what you do to try to close it. OR you uninstalled it and it STILL keeps trying to pop up but because you uninstalled it, instead an error message keeps popping up that looks something like this:
Image Hosting - ImageHosting.com
(i hope the picture works)

i tried following the directions under the "Limewire Acting Wierd (PLEASE HELP!!!)" thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/231269-post141.html

but everytime i dry to download the brute force uninstaller at this link:
http://www.merijn.org/files/bfu.zip
my internet securty software (i use trend micro) blocks the site because it says there is spyware on that site.

i just want to know if anyone has tried the method listed under the "Limewire Acting Wierd (PLEASE HELP!!!)" thread and has acutally fixed their limewire using that method. also, does anyone know if there's spyware on the brute force uninstaller site?

at this point i'm not even trying to fix limewire. i just want to get the stupid error thing from popping up every 30 secs.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE HELP!!!

Best Tip i can give you is to download AVG if it's the same worm like i think it is Try AVG it should get rid of it.This is the only virus scaner that i can think of that get's rid of it.
