![]() ok now i get to go through the settings and i still get to the point where i choose what types of files that i want to share and when i get to that screen its locked up. Mouse moves and all but that is after i get to go through a few other screens that ask me where i would like to store downloaded files and what not. All those screens were fine and i could click next. Now im stuck. Can someone send me a link to limewire "offline install version"? I can see that you are supposed to click cancel and then choose offline install, but i dont see that. Thanks!!! |

install LW using 'this' offline version http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe -- just click on save (to desktop) or run

![]() If Skyliner's suggestion does not work, the problem might be with your Java. It could be an incomplete or corrupt installation. Perhaps due to a previous Java version not uninstalled properly. You could try this http://www.gnutellaforums.com/333278-post2.html & deleting any previous LW preferences folder you have before reinstalling LW if you have run LW previously. In previous years, when LW has had loading issues, sometimes the solution was changing the compatibility mode of the program itself to NT or 2000, etc. |
