| How did you try to uninstall it? If you used the control panel -> install/uninstall programs that is the incorrect way. Normal way is Start menu -> All Programs -> LW -> Uninstall. | Hi, sounds like what I have been getting. Only my problem is this: Limewire kept opening on it's own after I closed it. So I uninstalled, now it still keeps trying to open then I get this message, obviously because the program is no longer there. LimeWire version 4.18.8 Java version 1.6.0_05 from Sun Microsystems Inc.
