preview file kills limewire

hello all. this is my first post. i am running 5.1.4Pro/Java 1.6.0_14 on a pc with 3GB RAM 320GB storage with a AMD Quad4 3.2Ghz processor on XPProSP3 and ATT DSL Extreme.

Whenever i attempt to preview a file that is still downloading, it kills limewire and i have to restart it. Does anyone have a solution?

Will there be a fix in the future so that LW will resolve its issue with WMP? Simply not using the default windows media player really does not solve the bug in LW; it's just a workaround.

LW have been aware of this issue for half a year, so I'm not sure why a fix has not been found yet. It might come with LW 5.3 May I ask which version WMP you are using out of curiosity?

Hello. I have v. 11.0.5721.5260

It's my guess it's something to do with a clash with that version. I don't think the issue occurs with the earlier wmp versions, but I might be wrong. Not much we can do except wait on LW to get around to fixing the situation.
