 same problem I had the exact same problem. I wasted an hour trying to figure out how to fix it before I just uninstalled limewire, and went online and installed it again, which of course installed the latest version. works fine now. | The exact same thing is happening to me - I'd love someone to tell me what the problem is, but for now I'll just uninstall and install the new version. |

| Still struggling Updated limewire now on 5.5.16 but it still won't let me open or run the programme.never had any problems previously,checked java is latest and firewall is ok.Tried redownloading after taking limewire off by still no luck.Anyone with any suggestions I can try?? piflonkyd |
