 Lol......I've once asked the same question. Actually no-one knows for sure. The general guess is that LW will take the very first it can browse (because not all host have chat enabled-which seems to help when trying to browse-, or are behind firewalls)....  Almost forgot, the # symbol means indeed the amount of hosts connected to the network with an identical file (in name, size, and type)
