I always wanted a daughter, lol. I use to cry when I walked down the 'pink' isle in a toy shop, lol. I'm over it now though, but I still get very clucky.

I also have 2 older boys as well, 18 & 21.

I've been noseying around the site, & there is so much to learn.

It's so hot outside, I'm bored & have got absolutely nothing to do, not even housework, lol.

Are there any sites around that I can get invovled with? Nice 'clean' sites, lol.

Sorry but we really shouldn't mention titles of things downloaded...even though Oz doesn't have the same laws as some other other countries:wink:

I have 2 boys too, 6 & 9. They run me ragged:D

MrsVege November 27th, 2006 10:31 PM

Sorry about that. I deleted that bit. I should read the Rules & Regulations of your site.

6 & 9 are the fun ages. It' pretty full on, lol.

I see you live in Perth, such a beautiful place. I lived in WA for a couple of years. Family was the only reason I came back.

I find it very hard to go to another thread, when I can't understand what it says, lol.

So much to learn. :bangh:

Ok, I'm back from the 'movies' to get back into the tunes, lol.

I would like to ask about the 'Incomplete Files'. Is it ok to delete these files after the song is in the 'Share File' & in the Media Player?

wondering why November 30th, 2006 07:41 PM

I don't get what you mean about them being in the incomplete folder if their in your shared folder...

If you mean can you delete the file from Limewire after it's been downloaded and sitting in your shared folder the answer is no...

This sticky will explain more...:rolleyes_2:

Hi guys... sorry I haven't been around.

We had a few fires spotted everywhere near me, they were called the 'Bookmark' fires. I was watching flames as high as the trees from my front door about 2 or 3 kilometres away. It was a hairy experience.

We are so lucky the wind was in out favour. :yahoo:

I had a few things ready to grab & run, including the computer, lol.

Now, back to fun.

Everything I download or try to then cancel goes into an 'incomplete' file (just above the 'shared file' where they end up if downloaded)

I think thats the one you say can be deleted.

Sleepless December 3rd, 2006 04:34 PM

Any cancelled incomplete files you do not want to continue downloading and all previews can be deleted from the incomplete folder without disturbing anything else.

In case you access the folder outside of Limewire. There are two files which should not be deleted unless you want to start fresh. They are called Downloads.dat and Downloads.bak

This is for "Only A Hobo". I read about what you said that the best audio files to download are mp3 and to stay away from wma because they are unplayable. I don't know if this holds true to whats happening with me, but maybe you can help. Everytime I try to play a song, it opens upto Music Match and eventhough it is okay, I just can't play it anyways. I believe the file I downloaded was a "wma" file- I'm at work at the moment and I can't remember exactly. Can I have it set to play with iTunes instead? The other thing is that I set it to play with the LimeWire Media Player, and it still opens upto MusicMatch. Can you or anyone else help - please. Thanks

Hi Only A Hobo - Thanks for your help. I did exactly what you said and it worked wonderfully. The only problem I'm having now is with itunes. Itunes recognizes limewire and it opens its own library, but when I try to drag a song to the itunes library it won't let me, as a matter a fact it won't let me drag it anywhere for that matter. The question is, is it even possible to do that? Again, thanks for your help in advance. Whatever feedback you may have is most appreciated.
