yea since i updated a couple weeks ago (which i normally never do because it took me weeks to set it how i want it) lime wire is basically useless to me! after about an hour or less of downloading, limewire freezez and i cant do anything!!! the limewire screen is totally blank, the downloads stop, and i end up havin to restart limewire. the old screen wont even go away i just have to open a new one! whats up with that???? my bittorrent works perfect though.
help!

That sounds like it could be a graphics card problem...
But try these fixes and see if that helps at all...

Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE offline version....(5th one down)

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...

ok i did all of those things but... no visible change yet. i guess i have to wait about an hour to see if the prob went away since thats when the screen usually freezes up and the downloads stop.

still freezing! i updated and set up my static ip, forwarded my port.... still froze. this time even faster than b4!

Try updating your graphics card drivers and see if that helps...
