Well Thanks for all the info. I guess I will guess.
Next time you might offer up a little more info like the media player you are using.
What kind of file you're trying to play. Stuff like that really helps us help you.
You might need codecs. Try this one. Like I said it's only a guess.

Download the K-Lite Codec Pack.

You could also try another Media Player.

Default no movie will play

Sorry im new to this
its an avi movie i downloaded from limewire
i have downloaded that codec pack as well as the 2 other ones and downloaded the player you suggested to someone else nothing seems to work. I really dont mean to sound dumb but i have been fighting with this all day

Default DivX codecs

What about downloading DivX codecs, that helped me to play movies on Windows Media, I may be off the beaten track, I hope not, but I'm not professional and it's just a suggestion...
