Limewire Download Prob (setup wizard stuck)
Hello ,
I downloaded limewire, the basic version on my pc ( i downloaded it already on others and it works great). This time I am stuck on the download setup wizard and won't go further!!! I have windows xp amd, dsl connection, avast antivirus. Thank you for your help. Oh I'm in the US but I'm french...

Try clicking on the bottom of the setup wizard box & dragging it downwards...do you see the 'back' & 'next' buttons, so that you can progress through the wizard?
If that doesn't help, try the tips here: setup freezes

Ok, tell us what happens. Can't you choose any options within the Miscellaneous Settings page?
Does your computer freeze? Do you see any error message? Can you go on to the next page after Miscellaneous Settings? What version of Java do you have installed (go to Control Panel > Java > About... there you'll see the version)? Last edited by birdy; November 15th, 2008 at 11:12 PM. Reason: asking for more info
