CAN SOMBODY PLEASE HELP ME!! Just bought LW5. I have installed and uninstalled it several times and after installing it - I can't get it to launch. I click open and NOTHING. I have changed the Java Platform to a 'Offline' one. Still won't launch. Getting aggravated. Shouldn't have to change all kinds of things to try to get LW5 to work. I'm a novice at computers. I use Mozilla as my default browser. I'm running XP Home edition. I have 2 pc's in my house (both desktops) connected to a Lynksis Router. Are there a 'PORT' settings I might need to set?
Looking thru threads, this seem to be a problem with LW. Also, they are supposed to have 24/7 support. I sent a email to the contact address and no answer. PLEASE HELP IF U CAN. THANKS

For some people some versions do not work or work as well as other versions. Try steps 5 & 6 here: Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link).

If that does not work, then try this: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/333278-post2.html but instead try this version of Java Archive: Download Java Platform Standard Edition (Java SE) 6u5 & use your installer you downloaded previously for LW. Sometimes one version of Java works better for LW on some people's systems.
