Updating

Can someone help me

I updated my Limewire that had been working great this morning. My older version was deleted and now when I try to download it again keeps coming back and saying corrupted file.

I have cleaned out the cache, searched all limewire and deleted and still can not download. I only have the basic version if that matters

Try this: Reinstallation Technique (the first LW download link is not working, try the 2nd as mentioned.)

Might be wise to temporarily disable your firewall & security software whilst you download the copy of LW, this 'might' be a part of the problem.

Oh my god I just tried to change the prefrences on LW and i have wiped out half of my computer. There is no recognition of my name or any of my files and have lost my email as well. Just to fix one program I have completely wrecked my computer.

Go back to a previous restore point on your O/S then everything will return to normal.
