![]() I have a 56k modem and umetered access and still find it difficult to d/l anything over 5mb. The only success I have ever had with "large" dvdx (for example running around 21 mins and being 50-75 MB) is with FTP and "reget".The only fileshare freeware that works with these large files is "KAZZA" which has good(for my modem) download rates. I leave my machine on all night and find that many people have taken files with a 20 percent failure rate. Your download speed does improve if you allow more bandwith for uploads. well mine does!!-so if your out there with a 56k give it a try and increase your upload bandwidth cheers |
