How can I increase transfer rate?, I have a cable conection

Soy de Mexico y tengo conexión de cable y alcanzo normalmente 40 Kbs en tasa de transferencia pero con el Gnotella, raras veces paso de 10 Kbs. Si alguien sabe algun sugerencia por favor compartanla conmigo.

I'm from Mexico and I have a Cable conection, normally I reach 40Kbs in transfer rate, but using Gnotella, just a few times I get over 10 Kbs. So, if anyone knows some suggestion please share it with me.
