| Gnotella (Windows) Gnotella has been discontinued. We highly recommend you use an actively developed client instead. |

| I emptied the hosts.txt file to see if it makes any difference but it doesn't. In further testing I have discovered something about the freezing. If I change context by clicking on a different window (File Explorer for example) and then change back to Gnotella then it will accept another mouse click. Then it freezes again. So, to test this really well I sized both the Gnotella and Explorer windows so they don't overlap. Then I alternated back and forth. Each time the focus is set to the Gnotella window it is good for one mouse click without waiting - then freeze up. I'm using W2k and no other application behaves this way. Any ideas what this points to as the real problem? Dave |
