I just checked the one on my site and it's still good.

I'll replace that attachment right now. Thanks for the report.

Just downloaded Bearflix, and I can't connect. I tried turning off the firewall and all that and I seem not be able to connect at all with anything I do... Any ideas?

AaronWalkhouse April 8th, 2009 06:57 PM

Have you tried connect.zip? Has any P2P program worked for you before?

firegods11 April 9th, 2009 04:28 PM

ya it said the file was invalid or corrupted. I also downloaded AOL AIM and it couldn't connect so I'm thinking it might be something with the network... I'm not sure tho

AaronWalkhouse April 9th, 2009 05:09 PM

It isn't corrupted. Did you use this link?

If your unzip software still says connect.zip is corrupted which version is it?

Since it might be a network problem, better use BearDiag and take the problem to the
main BearShare support forum, Technutopia.

I've tried the connect files given.
It is not working for me.
BearShare worked very well for us for a long time but now, it quitted the work.
BS. Inc turned into pay per file system and now it is selling the files.
The old P2P system is totally useless and new connect.txt files seem not working very well.
I've noticed that no mods are interesting on BS title anymore.

It is an old religion like Napster. May rest in peace.

The gnutella network is still alive and well, with millions of users and many different
programs. You can ignore the fake BearShare because it doesn't use gnutella. If your
BearShare is having problems, maybe you need to [Configure your router for BearShare].
