you have to set 'execute in' for the link to your limewire install folder.

I know, the "execute in" folder is LimeWire's.
By the way, I have an AMD processor. Maybe the Java 1.4 Runtime doesn't work with AMD?

it does work with AMDs - I got one too.

are you using the limewire distribution from limewire.com?

I have LimeWire pro, which I downloaded from their site.

goto the command line and type "java -version"
see which version of java you're using.


while you're trying remove the " " signs from your shortcut path.

It doesn't and it can't work without "" because there are spaces. Windows treats spaces as one parameter only if there are written between "".
This is the shortcut that LimeWire creates by default - I didn't change it.
