I did some more experiments - if you start limewire and you do not search it will not grow. I did have several old downloads pending, and these were downloading as expected and other people did uploads, and no memory growth. As soon as I did one single search the memory did grow, and a single search took up to 100 Mb. And it does not stop to grow after the search stops, I mean if the spinning limewire icon stops. Closing the search tab did not appear to return any significant amount of memory to the system.
