If I have a list of (audio) files that I would like to search for, is there a way I can put this list into a folder or file so that Limewire starts it picks these up and starts searching for them/finds the best match and starts downloading it.

Why would want I do this ? If I have a list of files that i want to find it would be very useful if I could do this semi-automatically rather than having to search for each one individually.

Sorry, you are going to have to do things the hard way. Limewire is not capable of figuring out which files are the best...this concept changes as spammers get more sophisticated. Also, searches are designed to time out after a certain amount of time so that the gnutella network doesn't get too congested and slow things down for everyone. If you're getting free music, I suppose you can't complain (okay, maybe a little).
