![]() I READ A PREVIOUS THREAD ABOUT CLICKING THE SONGS, FILING THEM THEN CLICKING ADVANCED THEN CONSILODATING THEM. I HAVE MOST SONGS FROM MY LIMEWIRE FILE ONTO MY ITUNES MUSIC LIBRARY. THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING NOW IS THAT WHEN I TRY TO PUT THE REMAINDER OF SONGS THAT DIDNT CONSOL. EARLIER TODAY THIS MESSAGE POPS UP AND SAYS "COPYING MUSIC FAILED, THE FILE NAME WAS INVALID OR TOO LONG" WHAT DO I DO DIFFERENTLY? MY IPOD HOLDS UP TO 400 SONGS, AND I ONLY HAVE 278 CURRENTLY. PLZ HELP ME.. THX |

![]() That's one technique of adding them. Might not be totally reliable though not sure. Try the other techniques of adding songs to iTunes such as opening your download folder using the Explore button & drag-drop them onto iTunes Library icon above the How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link} playlists. ![]() |

![]() The Explore button is in LW, click the Library tab at top of the LimeWire (LW) program, then click your Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. That will open the folder up outside of LW. Then open iTunes, drag & drop the music files from the folder you opened up, onto the iTunes Library icon at top of the playlists on iTunes. See Drag & drop method of adding to iTunes (click on blue link) as an example. ![]() |
