need MPG download to play movies

Hello... I have searched, called, and have ran out of options to where to find a download to playback movies that in the MPG file. Where can I find one for OX S??? THANKS in ADVANCE!!

Visit www.videolan.org for a free OSX player that plays almost any file.

I tried downloading the "vlc-0.5.2.dmg" and its still does not working What am I doing wrong or did I download the wrong thing? PLEASE HELP! - Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda,
You have the right program, open the player and click on the PLAY button. A window will appear on the screen then select the file you want to play. Then click on the OPEN button on the window and it should start playing. Let me know if that works for you or not.
