I suspect the problem might have something to do with providing non-stuffed dmgs for download. I ran into a case where a file was corrupted somehow, while I was downloading a few other things. Tried again with just the one item and no problems. And this was via Safari, not Limewire.

As to the remedy listed above, I checked back and found the original posting. It is only for cases where all dmgs are getting the error, not just a few. I think that's why it didn't work for this problem.

I suspect it'd be a good idea for people who make the dmgs initially to use Stuffit on them before making them available. I'm not sure if this will work, but it couldn't hurt to try.

Maybe a forum listing files in which people got error 95. We can find out which files are flawed, if everyone has trouble with them, and maybe figure out why only some do, if that's the case. In fact, I think I'll start that forum now.
