I figured out why the limewire installer wasnt working. Very simple. This is based on the previous thread. I unstuffed the .zip file with stuffit. It worked with the latest version of stuffit. So basically ZIPIT has some kind of bug.

You're right. Zipit was delivering a dud installer to the desktop. I thought I
had issues with Stuffit too until I used Stufft 6.0. Did you use a later version
like 7.0.3 to deliver a good installer?

Well I'm glad we've worked around that problem. BTW, I needed an iPIX Browser
Plug-In V7.0 to view The Lions Den at mgmgrand.com in Las Vegas. I had the
same problem installing that. It is also made by Zero G. Software and both
have the icon of a hard drive with a blue disk...probably the company's logo.
May be that that company's product and Zipit have compatibility issues.
