FWIW, http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml is advertising that there is more of a difference recently than the usual one about ads. I haven't tried the free for a while, but don't see much difference between the CVS and the Pro versions--they both are improved. I can't read code so I wouldn't know how to compare the technical differences.
