Use the uninstall program first (or drag the entire Limewire folder to the trash). Then, to find the other bits, search for "limew" with the finder. If you had a old limewire at some point, also search for an invisible file with 'zerog' in its name. The Shared and Incomplete folders were also installed in your Home Folder, but check within them to see if there are any files you want to keep first.

If there is a dock icon, drag it to the trash, and maybe even check the System Preferences->Login Items.

You're welcome.

Don't know if this will work for you, but I tried it and it worked. I downloaded the most current version, and prayed for an uninstaller. I am not sure if it was there before or if it came with 3.8.6, but give this a try.....

Download 3.8.6
Using the finder - look for LimeWire.
On my computer, an uninstall folder came up with all the other normal LimeWire folders.
Click it, follow the directions, and close the finder.
To make sure it is gone, do the finder again.
If it is still there, put it all in the trash - then empty.

Good Luck!!!!

You have to clean your registry after this, it always better to use the unistaller.

Mac OS X has no registry and nothing similar. Drag & Drop is the standard way (and recommended by Apple) to install and uninstall Software on Mac OS X.
