Hi CK. Don't worry about the bug server--it's been timing out lots recently, and most of the gnutella developers have been discussing the strain on the gwebcache system (gives you the initial list of hosts for connections). Patience is needed here.

Still, if you can get a friend who has good connections to mail you a copy of the "gnutella.net" file, maybe you can use it to replace yours. Search for "gnutella.net" to see where the LimeWire preferences are stored. LW needs a list of known good hosts for initial startup, so if LW can't retrieve one, maybe a friend can help.

Are you using a broadband connection (cable or DSL)? If Modem, connections can be flaky, so set the LW prefs to manually connect at startup.
