Quite odd.

Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000048

indicates a problem outside of LimeWire's code (LW's intense use of java just triggers the condition).

Reinstalling the java should have fixed any problem with java; reinstalling the system should have fixed any problem with OS X, so that leaves the hardware.

Hmmm. Was any other 3rd party software added? You can always try a "Safe Boot" (startup and hold down the shift key) to trigger that automatic system file check and run with out third party "extensions." This won't make any difference though if the problem is with some touchy RAM.

For hardware problems, the Apple Forums would be the place to ask for help.
