Thanks ever so much for your kind help. However it is still telling me that I do not have an avctive connection!

Yes, the answer was flase as you suspected! Re your latter comments, I managed to create a static IP address, complete the port forwarding for my wireless router and also change the settings on limewire to listen to the correct port .. all as per your instructions.

I am wondering if the DNS servers that I entered should have been specific to LimeWire instead of the sonic thing? Also, I had to use the airport settings to adjust as I connect wirelessley.

Limewire is now not showing a firewall detected as it did before, so something has obviously gone right.

Are you able to help further?
