K thanks. That means any firewall problem is either your OSX firewall or your ISP. Double-check your firewall settings.

But then again, dial up modems can be a bit stuffy at times with LW. It can sometimes take time to get connected properly.
I used dial up with LW for 3 years before I upgraded slightly. (bottom end adsl broadband speed but unlimited upload & downld quantities.)

I did check my firewall settings and I have it on and G/LW picked.
I told my son we are just going to use the iTunes music store for him to buy music. I am afraid that if I limit him to copyrited material only on LW he won't be able to get what he wants(new songs).
