| Not sure why that should be the case. If it is due to LW, then perhaps use this tip Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! & also keep shared files less than 2,000 for OSX. BTW did you end up doing the SAFE Boot & Repair permissions? 1st do a safe boot & repair permissions; (1) Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode; & then (2) Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions. Then reboot normally. |

| Yes, I did one of these tasks completely, the safe Boot. Then with Cocktail or jackrabbit (??? - sorry, but I've been on this for a couple of days and have lost track) I did a repair permission set of tasks. However, whatever application I was using kept going and going (maybe over 15 - 20 minutes) and after quite a while I quit the program. Should I have kept going? |
