Getting my music to others thru limewire-How EXACTLY?

I am new to limewire and have been downloading for a few weeks now. I had a very extensive music Library of my own to start with since I've been a Dj for well over 43 years. I want to share my personal collection of 100% Digital source Oldies and Country music libraries with other Limewire users but am not sure how to do it. Could somebody please walk me thru it so I get it right the first time? I have a very fast SAT. connection and wish to help others build their own libraries the way Limewire has helped me fill some of the holes in my libraries.. Thanks, Mike Love

P.S. I am a Power Mac G4 user with OS 10.4. as my OS.

I am in Northern California you moron. I live in the town of Gerber, which is about 10 miles south of Red Bluff. My phone # IS listed in information and you have a really crummy attitude when it comes to new members trying to add their very extensive music libraries to the limewire family. Just who are you anyway. Are you the moderator of this forum or just some jerk who thinks he's really hot stuff. I am not trying to pull the wool over anybodies eyes. I was actually trying to help by adding my library to the mix. If you are any indication of the type of people I'll run into when I try to ask for help, then screw it. To share, first be sure LW is not firewalled. Satellite connections are generally reknown as not highly reliable for uploading through.

To share, How to Share Folders (click on link)
Alternative location for OSX of course is LW prefs -> Sharing tab.
Keyboard shortcut for LW prefs is Command (apple) key and comma ⌘ ,

BTW yes Peerless is a super moderator on these forums and WAS known as THE axeman. Best not to upset the mods. Just let be.

I have just started using limewire and I don't know much about p2p at this point. I was only trying to offer my very extensive library to others as they have done for me. I was only asking for help on exactly how to set up my system so others could access my music and do not appreciate Peerless calling me an Attention Seeker and a Troll when he knows nothing about me at all. I was asking for help and, if I did screw up, he could have been a bit more understanding. The info in my replies to him were honest and I really don't know why he has it in for me. I made a mistake. Fine. I accept that but to call me names when he doesn't know anything about who I am or what my motives are is just plain rude and totally uncalled for. The info in my first post was all true but he didn't even bother to try to check it out. He just assumed that I was a phony and went after me. I'm not and am still willing to put my music on line but I honestly do need somebody to walk me thru it so I get it right the first time. Mike

area code 503 (as your originally posted) is listed as being is Oregon...your IP did not trace to California on both the traces I did...

I've driven through Red Bluff many times on my way to Fall River, so I know its not in Oregon...the warning I gave you was based upon 2 facts:1: you posted a phone number in clear violation of the rules, 2: you brag (attention seeker) about your extensive collection

AFAIC you are fake and most likely trolling for peoples identities so that you may sue them, and too boot are getting paid for it...

advertising your files as you do is in clear violation of the law and promotes piracy...this forum does not operate in that fashion...

if you can't figure out how to put files in your shared folder with all of the simple directions floating around...well, that says something...I for one don't think you are that retarded, hence my conclusion as listed above...while you may think you are a ''valuable asset'' to the network, I consider you to be nothing special as I consider somebody who takes the risk of hosting as of yet unreleased audio files to be of far greater ''importance''
