I'd suggest removing your LW preferences folder, your FW Prefs folder if you have one, and any LimeWire & FrostWire receipt packages. Check 2nd & 3rd posts here Can't launch LW: Bouncing in Dock (click on link). Delete all installed LW & FW program folders. If they are on their own within a folder called Applications, then delete that folder too. Then reinstall an older version (LW 4.16 or earlier.)
