![]() Man, I don't get it. I'm new to Mac, and just downloaded Limewire. On my PC, I always got lots of results. I'm getting exactly (34) beside each choice, and I am getting shown two choices... what's up with that? doesn't matter what I search, I get (34) beside the search title, and two choices with 17 hosts each... Must be an easy fix, I just don't know it. Thanks for any help you can give me. Thanks |

![]() Are they 'real' files or spam results? If not sure, check the file sizes with these ones: Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see). Get to know these file sizes. In general, ignore most files under 2,000 KB (2 MB), but also beware of some larger ones. ![]() You might also wish to add some filters: (a) Problems with the search, __ (b) Hostiles List, __ (c) Direct instructions to eliminate porn from results - go to both of the links in that post as one applies to general spam. There is a chance you are connected directly to a spam ultrapeer. |

![]() Alternatives. Frostwire which is basically identical. Also Phex which I greatly enjoy using; http://www.gnutellaforums.com/phex-c...urn-infos.html But does sound like you are getting spam. Have you learnt to recognise spam yet? You will get spam regardless of which gnutella program you use. ![]() |
