Updating?

ok, i know this is going to sound like a dumb question but how do i update to the latest form of limewire? do i have to delete my old lime wire version? will that delete my entire lirbrary? When I update to my files carry over ?

I'm sorry fo the dumb questions but i'm nOT very good @ this!
