Default Installer automatically saved as ADOBE file (?!?)

Somebody please help...
I downloaded "LimeWireMac.bin" exactly as instructed (after paying my $9.50) and it has saved itself as an Adobe file which, when opened, is blank. Adobe then errors out and quits.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
I am at muffin@shamlin.com
And many effusive thanks for any help.
