Crash In Verifying Stage I have just installed the latest version of the basic LW (4.2) on my Mac. I am using system 9.1. I can download images and music fine, but every time I try to download videos my computer crashes during the verifying stage. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have read through most of the forums and have not seen any that would address this problem. |

Crash when verifying files I am running a Mac with system 9.1. I just installed the latest version of Limewire basic (4.2). I have no trouble downloading audio or images, but everytime I download video my computer crashes in the verifying file content stage. I read through alot of the forum and have tried some of the things mentioned. I have increased the memory on Limewire to 64mg as suggested. I have looked to add the # before lax.nl.macos.java.compiler=off as one suggested but I do not have that line in my lax folder. Any suggetions for me to try. I am new to Limewire, so I might have something set wrong. Please help! |

Have you considered updating to OS 9.2.2 & updating your Java to MRJ 2.2.6 for OS 9.2.2 Here's some hints: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...8426#post98426 Don't forget to Re-Build your Desktop after installing new softw: Restart comp & hold-down both the Apple key & Option key until you see a message asking if you want to rebuild desktop. |
