 You're right that Pro (or any update) will update the existing setup, so all old settings and incompletes will continue as before. However, the Classic mac uses an old version of Java, and Apple is no longer updating Java for pre-OS X macs. Even LW has stopped trying to develop for Classic, so updating to Pro is probably not worth it.  |
