No installer after download
Help please. I am new to this LimeWire stuff.
I am trying to get onLImeWire from a Mac running OS 9.2. I download Basic and then it says to double click on "LimeWireMac.bin" to install. All my desktop shows is "LimeWireSoftMC" (11.3mb file) I click, but it won't open. What am I doing wrong? I really want my LimeWire!

The name of that file sounds suspicious. Get it from here instead: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
Drop the .bin file onto StuffIt Expander to uncompress it 1st.

They are using OS 9.2 so, that issue doesn't apply. Safari is an OSX only browser.
 Make sure you have the last Java version released for OS9; http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120209 & ignore the 9.2.2 suggested requirements. Though you probably should update to 9.2.2 anyway.
