 No installer after download Help please. I am new to this LimeWire stuff. I am trying to get onLImeWire from a Mac running OS 9.2. I download Basic and then it says to double click on "LimeWireMac.bin" to install. All my desktop shows is "LimeWireSoftMC" (11.3mb file) I click, but it won't open. What am I doing wrong? I really want my LimeWire!  |

 The name of that file sounds suspicious. Get it from here instead: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml Drop the .bin file onto StuffIt Expander to uncompress it 1st. |

| They are using OS 9.2 so, that issue doesn't apply. Safari is an OSX only browser.  Make sure you have the last Java version released for OS9; http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120209 & ignore the 9.2.2 suggested requirements. Though you probably should update to 9.2.2 anyway. |
