![]() i can;'t get my downloads to play by double clicking them. i have to find the file in the shared folder then double click it there . then it plays on a quick time player. how can i get it to just play in my itunes library on my itunes player...it only started doing this after i upgraded to the new lime wire. ??? auggiewan |

![]() If all you want to do is play them from itunes, open itunes. Go to your file menu, pull down add to library and in the popup go to your shared folder. There you will see your downloads, choose the one you want.They will now be in your library for you to play. |

![]() You could try a conversion program iTune Associator 1.6 (freeware) 40k download available from........ http://homepage.mac.com/josiahpugh/itunesassociator/ or from versiontracker.com I've used it to convert QuickTime and other mp3 audio files to iTunes, works fine for me; can convert individual files or all of the (non-iTune) items in a folder...just dump them onto the Associator icon and they are now iTune items. Does not solve the "automatic" use of iTunes as a default player for new downloads but, makes the conversion easier(?). OSX is not supported by iTune Associator 1.6 |
