The taliban didn't attack the USA, the attack was launched by terrorists who some people suppose to be connected to Usama bin Laden (there's no evidence, yet) and this Usama bin Laden happened to be the taliban chief's son in law.

As a German I'm allowed to sympathize with whomever I want, it's a freedom we are guaranteed in our constitution. And people like you make America appear as the Fourth Reich more and mor every day. The difference is probably that you have the better Ministry of Propaganda and that Germany was economically devastated at that time.
