 Sorry, I re-read the last post and it's confusing as hell. Essentially, yes I have a dynamic IP going to the internet. But I went out to dns2go.com and picked up a program that maps my dynamic IP to a static name. (ie my IP 142.165.*.* is mapped to "somename.dns2go.com") So all I am wondering is if I type "somename.dns2go.com" into the box on Limewire that says "Force IP" will limewire do the dns look-up or do I have to make sure that I change the IP in that box everytime my IP changes?  |
