Default Have you seen my connection?

Hola,

I recently downloaded the free version of Limewire, but now it refuses to connect to the network.

I have tried selecting connect from the file menu--no dice.

I have messed with my firewall and such--still no dice.

Could it be that I have pay to use Limewire? Was I so naive as to think that it could be free? Will I have to shell out the cash I stole from my sister's underwear drawer to continue using the citrusy little program?

Please help the monkey.

LOL!
for the connection problem, the easy fix if it works is to trash your preferences folder and try downloading the beta version http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml . Look at http://www.gnutellaforums.com/forumd...?s=&forumid=22

DON'T get Pro if the Free won't connect--there's no advantage there. Pro is better IF you can connect
("Better search results, Turbo-charged download speeds, Connect to more sources, No bundled software of any kind, Special PRO only skin, Personalized tech support via email, 6 months of free updates").
