![]() Hi If you buy a DVD player get the RCA DRC240N much better than Philips DVP642/US DVP630/UK. I have both and the Philips sucks it can not play many movies and has trouble with sub-titles and the zoom + the firm-ware is getting worse not better! RCA plays MPEG 1,2,4 Divx/Xid/WMA/ old DivX movies the ones you had to pay for to view (Circuit City). It also supports FF (dshow)/GMC/PEL. There is no firm-ware upgrades, but write this email and you can get all the firm-ware ISO updates you need. The guy works for RCA, I have installed 2 firm-ware updates and it has made the Divx/Xvid play so close to DVD it awesome. The new menu maker is cool too! handyrandyrider@netscape.net abc |
