![]() I think it may be time for LimeWire to add a popup screen to the Start Screen. It should read "Beware of bogus files..eg.399.0KB, 765.5KB etc..". I've been watching the searches that I have made since my last post and find these two are the most prevalent. I just finished two searches for files of 2.4MB and 4.8MB. My results were 15 for the first and 87 for the second. ALL were either 399 or 765.5. Please try to find out the size of the file you want BEFORE you search..then download only those close to that figure. sorry to be alarmist but these files are a real pain if you open them. I had to search the registry for all "p2p" references and get rid of them. Sorry for waffling on but it may save you a rebuild. |
