 There is an ad-supported free version of LimeWire and a Pro version of LimeWire. Almost the only difference between the two versions is that the Pro version is not ad-supported and LimeWire will provide customer support. The programs work almost the same. Pro is mostly for those who like LimeWire and want to support the developers and further development of the program. I hope that this has answered your questions. deepblue
